Neila Chaabane is Professor of Public Law and Dean of the Faculty of Legal, Political and Social Sciences of Tunis at the University of Carthage, Tunis.

She has been Secretary of State for Women and the Family, Director of the Doctoral School, Head of the Department of Public Law, President of the Tunisian Association of Administrative Sciences, Vice President of the Tunisian Association of Constitutional Law, of the International Academy of Constitutional Law, of the National Commission for the Investigation of Corruption and Embezzlement.

Neila Chaabane is an alternate member for Tunisia at the European Commission for Democracy through Law (Venice Commission).

She teaches and works mainly in tax law, public finance and constitutional law. She has recently published two books: “La protection du contribuable tunisien” and “Manuel de fiscalité des affaires”.
