The implementation of the projects will be in February 2023.<\/p>\n<p>This initiative is part of the OIF program, which aims to strengthen the capacity of French-speaking fact-checkers; to combat disinformation through democratic forms of regulation; to raise awareness and protect the public from the effects of disinformation; and to encourage francophone research and the dissemination of knowledge on disinformation phenomena.<\/p>\n<p>In 2022, the first edition involved 8 projects supported by 19 initiatives from 11 francophone countries.
