The Scientific Committee, a strategic orientation body of the MRRC, comprises renowned and accomplished experts in the fields of communication, journalism, media law, media regulation, media literacy, including experts who have a solid academic background, as well as a representative of the Council of Europe.

The main roles and objectives of the Scientific Committee are to strategically position the MRRC and to ensure the notoriety of the MRRC, as well as to contribute to the wealth of the offer and the sustainability of the MRRC.

The Comitee is composed of:

• Nouri Lajmi, President of HAICA and President of the Scientific Committee (Tunis, Tunisia)
• Neila Chaabane, Dean of the Faculty of legal, political and social sciences  – University of Carthage (Tunis, Tunisia)
• Renaud de la Brosse, Professor at Linnaeus University (Kalmar, Sweden)
• François Demers, Professor at Laval University (Quebec, Canada)
• Divina Frau-Meigs, Professor at Sorbonne Nouvelle – Paris 3 University (Paris-France)
• Mannoubi Marrouki, Professor at IPSI and member of the Press Council (Tunis, Tunisie)
• Patrick Penninckx, Chef du Service de la Société de l’Information du Conseil de l’Europe (Strasbourg, France).
