The seventh meeting of REFRAM dedicated to the digital platforms regulation

The seventh meeting of the French -speaking network of media regulators (REFRAM), on October 6 and 7, in Paris will be dedicated to digital platforms regulation, in order to guarantee respect of the citizens’ rights and freedoms.
Nowadays the challenges and risks posed by the manipulation of information and the propagation of online hatred discourse are increasingly imposed as a field of reflection for media regulators and all media actors.
To counter these challenges, new regulation models are being set up, including the recent Digital Services ACT in the European Union, as well as, other initiatives in creation of analysis tools Online content based on artificial intelligence.
The thematic sessions will notably allow an experiences exchange between various regional networks of media regulation authorities, but also about legislative matter and technological tools used in online regulation content platforms in different countries.
During this conference, will be organized a ceremony to designate Arcom (France), as president of the REFRAM for two next years.
