Ivory Coast: HACA acquires a new monitoring center for audiovisual programs
The Ivorian regulator has just set up a new audiovisual program monitoring center which will be deployed on six sites : Yamoussoukro, Bouaké, Korhogo, Man, Gagnoa and San-Pedro.
The Center will monitor the programs, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, of 60 radio services, 12 television services broadcasting in the capital Abidjan, as well as 36 radio services broadcasting in the Bouaké and Korhogo regions.
This centre, created with a bilateral partnership framework agreement between the two Ivorian and Moroccan regulators, is equipped with the patented HACA Media Solutions (HMS) solution, developed by the Moroccan regulatory authority.
“This tool will enable the HACA to better ensure the balance of information both during ordinary and electoral periods”, noted the president of the HACA, René Bourgoin, during the inauguration ceremony, in presence of Latifa Akharbach, President of HACA Morocco.
In 2022, this solution for media monitoring will be deployed in several other localities, including Aboisso, Daloa, Odienné, Bondoukou and Bouna.
