The 100 days of ARCOM

On the occasion of its 100 days of activity, ARCOM, born from the merger on January 1, 2022 between the CSA and HADOPI, took stock of its prospects for regulating digital communication at a press conference held on March 28, 2022, during which it presented its roadmap.

It was mainly about :

• the implementation of the regulation of social networks (2018 law on the manipulation of information, 2019 law to fight against hateful content on the Internet, 2021 law strengthening the principles of the Republic, 2022 European legislation on digital services) ;
• the new competences resulting from the CSA/HADOPI merger in terms of protection of creation and the fight against sports piracy;
• the fight against apology for terrorism and child pornography (2014 law reinforcing the provisions relating to the fight against terrorism, 2021 European regulation against the dissemination of terrorism online, …).
